Spring is in full swing and the Stripers are here! Blues will not be far behind as they will both be feeding on squid soon. The April 2024 Newsletter is full of great information and even has some inside info on members secret lures. Of course they will not give up their secret fishing spots and if they did we all know it would be a lie.

This edition is jam packed to kickoff the season! Some topics include Norton Point updates, MVSA Club updates, Make Your Own Lure Contest, Fishing Tag Sale, Pig Roast on The Beach, First Bluefish Contest, Boat Trip Raffle, Annual Club Picnic etc…

First off, It is time to pay your MVSA dues if you have not already joined for the 2024 year. All dues must be paid by April 15 or you will no longer be a member of this great fishing club. Please mail your $30 to MVSA, P.O. Box 3053, Edgartown, MA 02539.

First off, the next Edgartown Conservation Commission meeting related to the TTOR filings is on February 21, 2024 at 4:00p.m. We need everyone to attend this meeting to show our support.

The annual MVSA Banquet is this Saturday, February 3rd and all information is in the newsletter. Don’t miss this great event!

The next Edgartown Conservation Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 4:00p.m. on Zoom. This will be the 15th meeting of the Edgartown Conservation Committee related to public OSV access on the TTOR managed property on Chappy since November 2022. We need everyone to attend this meeting to show support.

This is a public meeting being held on Zoom. All the information and link can be found on the Edgartown Conservation Committee website.

This newsletter is packed with information but the most IMPORTANT news is the upcoming public OSV Access Meeting. The next Edgartown Conservation Commission meeting related to the TTOR filings is on January 24, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. It will be the 14th meeting of the Edgartown Conservation Commission related to public OSV access on TTOR managed properties since November 2022.We need everyone to attend this meeting. All the information is included in the newsletter along with the link to attend the meeting.

Everyone is also getting ready for the Martha’s Vineyard Bass & Bluefish derby starting on September 10th. All secret fishing spots are listed in the newsletter (of course they are not and that is just the first derby lie of the 2023 derby)
